The SADD members explained to the after school participants what KBD is about, did a self-defense demonstration (“kicking butts”), presented information about health effects of smoking and rubbing snuff, led an activity that helped the students understand what it's like to breathe with unhealthy lungs, and talked about tobacco advertising and how it attracts youth. Pictured below are SADD members Kendra Georg and Veronica Platter with after school participants (front row, left to right) Emily Taylor (partially hidden), Carsyn King, Kassidy Andris, Samantha Gank, James Lynch, Hunter Bowser, and Jessica Poling.
