Garrett County Health Department is hosting a night of free snow tubing for Garrett County youth from 6 th grade through 20 years of age. This “ Play Hard. Live Clean.” event is scheduled for Tuesday, March 8, 2011, from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. at Bear Claw Snow Tubing Park at Wisp Resort. Registration forms are available at county public middle and high schools, may be picked up in Room 206 of the Garrett County Health Departmentcan, or can be printed from the link below. Registration forms must be signed by a parent or legal guardian if the participant is under 18 years of age. Forms will be accepted at the event until the 150 participant limit is reached. There will be no pre-registration through the schools or health department. “Play Hard. Live Clean.” is a campaign to discourage underage drinking, tobacco, and drug use and to promote positive lifestyles. It is sponsored by the Garrett County Combating Underage Drinking Committee through a grant from the Governor's Office for Children through the Garrett County Partnership for Children and Families, Inc. / Local Management Board and the Garrett County Health Department with support from the Wisp.
