Kitzmiller Biggest Loser Participants Drop 122.4 Pounds
A total of 28 residents from Kitzmiller area recently participated in the Biggest Loser Challenge, dropping 122.4 pounds. This 12-week program tracked exercise and weight loss for 9 teams composed of three members each. The first place team the Three Musketeers, are pictured above. From left to right are Sandra Hawk, Charlie Paugh and Karen Harvey. Each member received $75 as a reward for their combined total of 38.5 pounds and 562 miles walked. The Meltaways came in second, with team members Cheryl Nesselrodt, Jimmy Dale Beeman and Connie Bray receiving $25 each. Taking third place was the Snickerdoodles team, with members Rita Lambka, Keith Lambka and Sarah Lambka receiving $10 each. The program was sponsored by the Kitzmiller Empowerment Group and the Garrett County Health Department.
