Nurse Family Partnership Program celebrates first graduating family
On December 16, 2009, Garrett County 's Nurse Family Partnership Program will celebrate its first graduating family. Pictured above are Brittiany and K.J. Lynch, holding their son Kevin John Lynch in a recent family photo and Kevin soon after his birth. The Lynch's were the first family to enroll in the program on August 28, 2007. Nurse Family Partnership is for women who are having their first baby. It offers free home visits through the child's second birthday by a specially trained nurse who provides education, support and encouragement during this very special time. Nurse Family Partnership is a Garrett County Partnership for Children and Families/LMB Program administered by the Garrett County Health Department.
