DARE to be You Scheduled for Oakland
DARE to be You, an 11-week parent-child program, will be held Wednesdays beginning on September 9, 2009, from 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Mary Browning Senior Center, Oakland, Maryland.
The program focus at this site will be on parents and their children 2 ½ - 5 years old. DARE to be You focuses on basic key principles in decision-making and problem solving, self-discipline, assertiveness, positive communication and social skills, responsibility, role models, and self esteem.
Rewards include family meals and a workshop incentive for completion of the program.
