Grantsville Involvement Group Holds Fundraiser
The Grantsville Involvement Group recently raised almost $900.00 to benefit Rodney McKenzie Jr., who was injured in an accident and is still unable to work due to several injuries and surgeries. Presenting a check to Rodney is President of G.I.G. April Folk. Also pictured seated in front, left to right are Wilma Hutzel and Meghan Jones; standing are Jordyn Folk, Robin Jones, Susan Barclay, Thomas Harvey, Lisa Harvey, and Rodney's wife Melanie McKenzie. “The whole community pulled together to make someone's life a little easier,” said Sharon Menges, GIG member and Garrett County Health Department Outreach Worker. GIG members not present for the picture include June Menges and son William, Tina Broadwater, Lucy Stein, Todd & Becky Schneider, and Sharon Menges, who took the picture.
