Fishing Rodeo Held at Accident Town Pond
The Accident Community Planning Group, in partnership with The Wild Turkey Federation, held their annual Fishing Rodeo at the Accident Town Pond on May 17, 2008. "It was a wonderful day, with lots of people, perfect weather, and the fish were biting," said Sharon Custer, Community Health and Outreach Worker at the Garrett County Health Department. "It is so nice to see families spending quality time together." Pictured above are Mike Green and his son, Mike, participating in the rodeo. Activities of community planning groups are supported in part by funds from the Garrett County Health Department to promote healthy living and prevent risky behaviors.
