How to Drug Proof Your Kids Training Scheduled
The Garrett County Health Department Prevention Office is preparing to share information they recently learn at a training called "How to Drug Proof Your Kids."
"Our staff attended the training sponsored by Focus on the Family and wants to share what they learned with local service agencies, organizations, and faith-based communities," said Nancy Brady, Alcohol and Drug Prevention Supervisor.

"This prevention program is community-based and equips parents with tools and strategies, enabling them to strengthen their families and more effectively steer their children from the harmful use of drug," said Brady. "We have a genuine concern for families and want them to understand that their health is linked to the welfare of our county and our country. Together we can make a positive difference for our families, our communities, and our future."
