"Play Hard. Live Clean." Campaign Schedules Tubing Event

 

 

Despite very cold temperatures,
hundreds of
Garrett County
youth took advantage
of the "Play Hard.
Live Clean." event
at the Bear Claw
Snow Tubing Park
last January.

 

 

 

For the fifth year in a row, Wisp Resort and the Garrett County Health Department are teaming up to host a night of free tubing for Garrett County youth from 6th grade through 20 years of age. This " Play Hard. Live Clean." event is scheduled for Monday, January 28, 2008 , from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. Registration forms are available at county public middle and high schools, can be accessed below, or may be picked up in Room 206 of the Garrett County Health Department. Registration forms must be signed by a parent or legal guardian. Deadlines for returned registration vary by school; forms will be collected in Room 206 of the Health Department until 5 p.m. on Thursday, January 24 or until registration limit is reached.

"Play Hard. Live Clean." is a campaign to discourage underage drinking and drug or tobacco use and to promote positive lifestyles. It is sponsored the by the Garrett County Combating Underage Drinking Committee through a grant from the Governor's Office for Children through the Garrett County Partnership for Children and Families, Inc. / Local Management Board and the Garrett County Health Department.
