Local band White Noise will play live at the "Play Hard. Live Clean." Beach Blast on June 23 at Deep Creek Lake State Park . The six member band played for a large audience at last year's Beach Blast, an alcohol, tobacco and drug free event open to all Garrett County residents middle school age through 20 years old. This year's Beach Blast will also include music by Sounds Fun Entertainment, horse carriage rides by Pleasant Valley Dream Rides, boating on Deep Creek Lake with Silver Tree Marina, kayaking with Mountain Streams, free food and numerous prizes from local businesses. The required pre-registration forms are available at the Garrett County Health Department room 206, online at www.garretthealth.org, or at county middle and high schools.
