Parents as Teachers (PAT) - an early childhood parent education program, which supports parents in their role as their child's first and most influential teachers. Personal visits provide parents with developmental information and parent-child activities. HFGC program staff are certified PAT parent educators. Many HFGC families are enrolled in this program enhancement but all families benefit from the staff's developmental knowledge gained through the PAT curriculum.
