Hours of Operation: As needed, provider visits in the home. Healthy Families Garrett County (HFGC) This program provides home visiting services to expectant parents and families with newborns less than 3 months of age. The program's purpose is to ensure that children are healthy and enter school ready to learn. Services are voluntary; there are no income restrictions; and there is no charge for services. After a screening and assessment process families are offered one of seven levels of services ranging from one or more home visits per week to parents being sent the Ages & Stages Questionnaire at specific times. The program is funded by the Garrett County Partnership for Children and Families, Inc., and administered by the Garrett County Health Department. The most unique feature of HFGC is that it is a blended program, creating a distinct new programmatic entity and the sharing of staff and resources with other agencies and programs. Additional HFGC program services, provided under the HFGC services umbrella,
