CMCA (Communities Mobilizing for Change on Alcohol) is a community organizing effort designed to change our community's policies and practices in ways that reduce access to alcohol by teenagers. Some of the activities that occur annually as a component of CMCA efforts are:
- alcohol compliance checks
- quarterly meetings of the Combating Underage Drinking Committee
- partnerships with local community groups to reduce underage access to alcohol at social events
- Kitzmiller Fire Department
- Oakland Volunteer Fire Department
- Northern Garrett Rescue Squad
- Play Hard Live Clean events
